With TLC contract signed, Charlotte & Asuka collide

Nothing ever goes wrong at pro wrestling contract signings.

This week’s episode of SmackDown opened with the hottest feud on either WWE brand. Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Asuka signed on the dotted line for their triple threat title match at TLC.

No, but really by WWE contract standards SmackDown GM Paige had everything pretty much under control. All tables remained intact and no strikes were thrown. Sure, Lynch had a brief verbal sparring session with both of her opponents but it was nothing compared to her usual haymakers.

To Flair and Asuka’s credit, both women rose to the occasion and felt like legitimate contender’s to The Man’s title.

This was the rare triple threat segment in WWE where all three competitors felt like big-time superstars.

The TLC pay-per-view (PPV) takes place on Sun., Dec. 16, 2018, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

After penning her name Lynch simply bounced from the ring. Asuka offered to break Flair and before she could accept Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville came out to make it a tag match. Somewhere a single tear of joy rolled down Teddy Long’s cheek.

The four woman match itself was really good even if it predictably ended with Flair and Asuka getting physical with one another. Flair accidentally laid out Asuka with a boot. Then Asuka responded with a vicious kick to Flair’s head when she wasn’t looking.

The look of pure joy on Asuka’s face after the kick was everything.

Should Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Asuka be the main event of TLC on Dec. 16?
