I’ve finally taken the dive into NJPW after being an American wrestling fan for decades and I love it. That being said, although you can get the main gist of what’s going on I’d really love to get more of the Japanese wrestlers’ personalities through their promos.
Generally theyre translating most of what they’re saying on commentary during shows but I do wish I could get subtitles for some other things.
For example, I was watching the Naito vs Jericho match at Dominion earlier and I really liked the hype video but I never knew what Naito was saying to Jericho in the clips of promos they were playing. Is there a subtitled version of these somewhere? Doesn’t have to be official, even if someone on YouTube is doing it I’d be curious to check it out.
