SmackDown tag team title match set for TLC

WWE announced a pair of singles matches for the pay-per-view (PPV) earlier today, why not also throw in the SmackDown tag team title match?

Indeed, it has been revealed that — surprise! — both The Usos and The New Day will be in yet another title match in 2018, as they will both challenge The Bar at the upcoming TLC event on Sun., Dec. 16, 2018, at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

Both The Usos and The New Day have scored non-title wins over The Bar in a recent weeks, making it a simple decision to go ahead with a triple threat match.

Here’s the updated TLC match card:

  • Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin in a TLC match
  • Daniel Bryan (c) vs. AJ Styles for the WWE championship
  • Ronda Rousey (c) vs. Nia Jax for the Raw women’s championship
  • Becky Lynch (c) vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka in a TLC match for the SmackDown women’s championship
  • Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dean Ambrose for the Intercontinental championship
  • The Bar (c) vs. The Usos vs. The New Day for the SmackDown tag team championship
  • Mixed Match Challenge Final
