WWE has announced the winners of Mixed Match Challenge season 2 will receive a special prize — the number 30 spot in their respective Royal Rumble matches.
The announcement on WWE.com reads:
In addition to earning supreme bragging rights over nine other elite mixed tandems, the winning Superstars of this season’s 14-week round robin event will receive the coveted 30th entry in their respective Royal Rumble Matches in January 2019, giving them a greater opportunity to win the celebrated free-for-all before going on to headline WrestleMania.
The winners will also apparently receive an “all-expenses paid vacation” to anywhere in the world.
For those who aren’t watching, the teams participating include:
- Braun Strowman and Ember Moon
- Bobby Lashley and Mickie James
- Finn Balor and Bayley
- Jinder Mahal and Alicia Fox
- Bobby Roode and Natalya
- The Miz and Asuka
- AJ Styles and Charlotte Flair
- Jimmy Uso and Naomi
- R-Truth and Carmella
- Rusev and Lana
So far the dominant teams have been Braun/Ember, Lashley/James, Miz/Asuka and Styles/Flair.
